Here's what others have to say about FeedMesh:
Hello All,
May I suggest that a platform, politics and protocol neutral infrastructure for commercial syndication of web logs can be achieved whereby a "no primary stakeholder" syndicate could be set up using product, service and content specific master channels on the public Internet? I came up with the idea for Feedpod several months ago.
There are hundreds of (stand-alone) natural language product and service-specific dot-com master channels sitting astride the public Internet that could be used for the purpose of an independent web-logging syndicate that manages (a) the network infrastructure and (b) commercial syndication for advertising. The network is large enough to accommodate almost every conceivable household product and service and all related trademarks in the form of level three master addresses. Aggregation of web logs inside dot com master channels for pinging, searching and advertising metrics ensures that by using shared information spaces, no particular entitity would have unwarranted traction or advantage. I surmise that the key to such an enterprise (business) model would be neutrality: i.e., management of the network by an outside entitity. I can provide some of the details about the network (which actually exists) if anyone wishes to follow up on this.
Thank you,
Derick Harris
